Game Background

You are an archeologist specializing in extraterrestrial artifacts.  You had come across a strange object floating in space in an asteroid field.  As you were attempting to run routine scans on it's composition, and age, this object became active, and sucked you in.  You found yourself in an alien environment, with no way to get home.  To make things worse, your energy containment system has been destabilized, causing your ship to loose energy at an increased rate.  This requires you to constantly recharge your ships energy, to keep from running out completely.   You've found that there are naturally occurring plasma spheres in this new world, which you later find out is the side effect of the object that dragged you half way across space.  This object, a star gate, reappears when you've interacted with enough objects on the worlds you're on.  Each time you enter a star gate, you hope that it leads home.  Eventually you'll make it home, but you may have to travel through many worlds before you find the gate that takes you home to earth.  oodd luck!

Game Objective

Travel from world to world, until you find your way home.  Each world is a new level in the game.  When you have accumulated enough score in a level by collecting energy, shooting enemy, and finding treasures, a new star gate opens.   Once you move through the star gate, you progress to the next level, and a new world.

Playing the Game

At the start of the game you are at level one.  You'll soon notice that your energy count is rapidly dropping.  To keep it from depleting completely, pick up energy sphere's whenever you can.  These spheres will appear at random locations in each level.   As you pick up energy, and other objects, and as you shoot enemy ships, you'll notice that your "points to star gate" indicator decreases.  When this number reaches 0, a star gate will appear.  This is your ticket out of the current level, into the next level.  Move your ship into the star gate to progress to the next level.  As you progress through the levels, and worlds, the worlds will become more difficult, and the requirement to get out of each world will also increase.  Also note that each time you shoot your weapon, it’ll cost you 15 energy points.

Energy-You must constantly find new energy to survive in this game!  It's also worth 10 points.

Enemy-Avoid these guys, they're out to get you!  You can shoot them if they get in your way, and you do get points for them, but they'll allways be back.)

Treasure-This is worth 100 points, so it's worth getting!  Remember any score you get, gets you that much closer to the next level!
